Sizes & Prices

When deciding on the size of portrait you would like make sure you consider where you are planning to display it, pride of place on a mantle piece or wall or side table. I can recommend which shape would work the best based on a reference photo if you are unsure between a traditional rectangular or square portrait.

Reference Photos

A very good quality photograph of your lovely pet is very important. A clear headshot photograph in natural lighting with no direct sunlight; would be the best way to capture the perfect pic of your pet. The better the photograph the better the portrait, it’s also just as important to capture the character of your pet in their expression.

I use one main photograph to draw from but I love having a selection of your pet to really get their character and any details that one picture can’t capture.

I understand that sadly we have all had pets which have crossed the rainbow and are no longer with us, in this case don’t worry I will do my best with the photos you have of your; or a friends beloved pet.

If you are unsure which of your photos are suitable please email or WhatsApp the pictures you have and I can advise which will work the best or advise how to try and take some more.

Book In Your Portrait

Once you have decided on a size and have your lovely reference photos ready, get in touch with me!

Before I start your portrait I need a £50 deposit via bank transfer or PayPal. The remaining payment can be made on completion of the drawing.

After that is sorted I will let you know when I’m starting my portrait and when I should have it done by! If you need a portrait for a certain date please make sure you get in contact at least a month before it is needed.

Process

As I draw a portrait I try to take photos and videos of the entire drawing process. If you would like I can send progress photos of the portrait so you are able to see how it looks at each stage or wait and see the finished portrait once its complete.

I post lots of my process photos and short videos of myself drawing the portrait online and on my social media, as it’s interesting to see a portrait from start to finish. If you would like me to wait to post anything on my social media incase of ruining a surprise gift, I will of course wait until after the portrait has been recieved.
